There's something special about resting in a room full of people who've chosen the same thing you have: to slow down. Conversations soften, breathing settles, and a shared quiet forms that's hard to find anywhere else.
That's why group experiences and special events are an important part of life at Neo Nour. In this Journal article, we'll share the kinds of group sessions we offer, how special events work, and how to make sure you hear about the next one.
As always, our experiences are complementary wellbeing practices for rest, reflection and connection. They're not medical or psychological treatment.
The quiet magic of pausing together
Group sessions offer something a little different from private time:
• A sense of togetherness. Many people find it grounding to share a practice with others, even without speaking. • A gentle introduction. If you're new to holistic practices, a guided group can feel less intimidating than a one-to-one session. • A shared ritual. Coming with a friend, partner or family member can turn a session into a meaningful moment together. • Shared energy. Practising alongside others can feel grounding and motivating. Group prices are per person; check the price listed when booking.
Regular group experiences at Neo Nour
Neo Nour's group sessions let you share a guided experience with others. Places are limited, and prices are per person. Group experiences include:
• Group Breathwork & Guided Meditation: a shared guided breathwork and meditation session. Learn more in our guide to breathwork and meditation. • Group sound-based session: a shared sound experience with time to pause and settle. See shared sound sessions. • Somatic Movement: a guided group experience centred on mindful movement. See somatic movement in Lebanon. • A group experience to explore self-healing practices: a shared space to learn simple practices you can carry into everyday life. See exploring self-healing practices together.
Current group sessions, formats, durations and prices are listed on our Experiences page. Group sessions take place in person in Lebanon. For online availability, especially of sound and somatic sessions, check the Experiences page.
Special events: gatherings, workshops and limited-time sessions
Alongside our regular group sessions, Neo Nour hosts special events: one-time gatherings and limited-time experiences. These might include:
• seasonal gatherings to mark a new month, season or year; • workshops exploring a practice in more depth; • special session dates featuring combined practices; • limited-time experiences that may not be part of our regular offering.
Special events are announced as they're confirmed, and the timing and price for each are shared at that point. If there's nothing listed when you visit, check back soon. New experiences are added as they're planned.
Whatever the format, our intention for every gathering stays the same: a calm, welcoming space where you can arrive as you are, share a practice with others, and leave feeling a little more connected, to yourself and to the people around you. Events are kept small so that everyone has room to settle and your guide can check in with each person.
What to expect at a group experience
Every group session is a little different, but you can expect:
A warm welcome. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in. Your guide will check in with the group and invite anyone to share considerations, such as injuries, pregnancy or sensitivities, privately if they prefer.
A guided practice. Your guide leads the session from start to finish. There's nothing to prepare and nothing to get right. You're always free to adapt, rest or step out.
Time to settle. Most sessions include quiet time to integrate and rest.
A gentle close. Some groups share reflections; others simply end in quiet. Sharing is always optional.
What to bring: comfortable clothes, a water bottle, and an open mind. Specific details for each event, such as whether to bring a mat or blanket, are shared when you book.
How to hear about the next event
The best ways to stay up to date:
• Check the Experiences page for current group sessions and special events. • Follow us on Instagram at @neonourlb for announcements, studio moments and gentle reminders. • Read The Neo Nour Journal for event recaps and notes from our practice.
Because places are limited, we recommend booking as soon as an event you're interested in is announced.
