When you first explore wellness sessions in Lebanon, one of the earliest choices is surprisingly simple, and surprisingly personal: would you rather have the room to yourself, or share the experience with others?
Neither is better. They simply offer different things. In this Journal article, we'll walk through the private, combined and group experiences at Neo Nour, and share a few questions to help you find the one that feels right.
As always, Neo Nour sessions are complementary wellbeing practices. They're about rest, reflection and reconnection, not medical or psychological treatment, and they never replace care from a health professional.
Two ways to make time for yourself
Every Neo Nour experience shares the same intention: a space to pause and reconnect. What changes is the format.
• Private sessions are one-to-one time with your healer. • Private combined sessions bring two complementary practices into one visit. • Group sessions let you share a guided experience with others. • Special events are one-time gatherings and limited-time experiences.
Private and group sessions are available in person in Lebanon or online. Current options, durations and prices are always listed on our Experiences page.
Private sessions: personal time, shaped around you
A private session is personal time with your healer, shaped around your needs. You can share as much or as little as you like, ask questions, and have the pace adjusted to you.
Private sessions at Neo Nour include:
• Reiki: gentle hand placement, or hands held above the body. See what a first Reiki session involves. • Sound-based sessions with tuning forks: time to pause and settle through sound. See sound healing in Lebanon. • Energy cleansing: a session focused on clearing unwanted or stagnant energy. See energy healing in Lebanon. • Crystal healing: a quiet session with crystals placed on or around you. See crystal healing in Lebanon. • Breathwork & guided meditation. See breathwork and meditation in Lebanon. • Holistic coaching: a session focused on mindset, thought patterns and goals. • Personalized Holistic Session: the healer chooses an approach to suit you on the day. Read more about how a personalized session unfolds.
Private might suit you if: it's your first time, you'd like a quieter or more personal experience, you have specific preferences, or you simply want the space to yourself.
Private combined sessions: two practices, one visit
If you're drawn to more than one practice, a combined session offers two complementary approaches in a single visit:
• Energy Detox & Crystal Healing: energy cleansing together with crystal healing. • Crystal & Breathwork Experience: crystal healing with guided breathwork and meditation.
These are a lovely choice when you want a little more time for yourself, or can't decide between two experiences.
Group sessions: a shared pause
Group sessions let you share a guided experience with others. Places are limited, and prices are per person. Current group experiences include:
• Group Breathwork & Guided Meditation: a shared guided session. • Group sound-based session: a shared sound experience with time to pause and settle. • Somatic Movement: a guided group experience centred on mindful movement. • A group experience to explore self-healing practices.
Group might suit you if: you enjoy a sense of togetherness, you'd like a gentle introduction before booking a private session, you want to come with a friend, or you'd simply enjoy the energy of practising alongside others. Check the price listed when booking.
Special events
From time to time, Neo Nour hosts one-time gatherings, workshops and special session dates. See our note on group experiences and special events. When dates are confirmed, they're announced on the Experiences page and on Instagram at @neonourlb. Timing and prices are shared when each event is announced.
How to choose: a few gentle questions
If you're still unsure, try asking yourself:
• Do I want to talk, or mostly rest? Private sessions allow more conversation; group sessions are often quieter and more guided. • Do I feel energised or soothed by other people? If shared energy lifts you, try a group. If you need solitude, go private. • Am I curious about one practice, or several? A combined session or a Personalized Holistic Session might be ideal. • Would I rather join from home? Private and group sessions are offered online; for crystal, sound and somatic sessions, check availability on the Experiences page. • Is this a gift, or a shared moment with someone? A group session with a friend can be a lovely shared ritual.
There's no wrong answer, and you can always try a different format next time. Many people start with a group session to get a feel for a practice, then book a private session when they'd like more personal time, or the other way round. Some return to the same experience as a regular ritual; others enjoy exploring something new each visit. If you'd like help choosing, leave a note when you book and we'll gladly point you in a gentle direction.
Questions people often ask
Can I book a group session for my first visit? Yes. Group experiences are a gentle introduction.
Are group sessions less personal? They're guided for everyone together, but your guide will still check in about comfort and preferences.
Can I come with a friend or partner? For group sessions, each person books their own place. For private sessions, ask when you book what's possible.
Is online as good as in person? It's different. Online sessions let you rest in your own space, while in-person sessions offer the calm of our room. For crystal, sound and somatic sessions, check availability on the Experiences page.
Are any sessions a treatment for health conditions? No. All Neo Nour experiences are complementary wellbeing practices, not treatments.
